FSU was the first school in the world to offer a Master of Social Work through an accredited online program. Adult learners enjoy a virtual online learning environment that connects students with their peers, faculty, and other professionals. In addition, field placements guided by the College of Social Work’s Office of Professional Development offer opportunities for students to gain real-world experience in a variety of fields across multiple states.
The MSW online program offers two paths for students, an Advanced program for individuals with their BSW from an accredited program as well as a Traditional program for individuals who have an undergraduate degree in a separate concentration from social work. Classes are online and FSU offers competitive field placements to make students attractive to potential employers. Students who attend FSU are able to learn today and apply tomorrow, taking classroom concepts and applying them to real world experiences.
